Appeals


The student is entitled to appeal (the appeals form here) the admissions decision to the Admissions Committee  of the Opole University of Technology. The letter of appeal must be submitted   no later than 14 days after having received the Notification of Selection Results.  The only legitimate reason for appealing the rejection decision is the indication of a breach of terms and conditions of recruitment for studies.

An appeal letter  for the University admission rejection must be accompanied by the set of following documents:

  • Application for admission to the University, printed from the online registration system (IRK-Internetowa Rejestracja Kandydatów) and signed by the applicant;
  • A photocopy of a general certificate of secondary education (A.K.A. Matura) or a general certificate of secondary education and certificates of the results of the maturity examination from particular subjects, referred to in the Act of 7 September 1991 on education system, authenticated by the Opole University of Technology (the original available for inspection)
  • photocopy of a diploma certifying successful completion of university education, together with a supplement (applies to candidates who finished studies after 2005), authenticated by the Opole University of Technology (the original available for inspection)
  • A two-sided photocopy of your identity card, authenticated by the Opole University of Technology (the original available for inspection). In the case of sending the documents by post, the photocopy is to be certified by a competent authority, having the right to issue identity cards or by a notary;
  • An identity photograph  (a photo made according to the guidelines for issuing Polish identity cards)
  • A medical certificate endorsing  the absence of contraindications for studying in the fields: physiotherapy and physical education. The certificate is to be submitted on a special form, placed in the electronic recruitment system (IRK)
  • A photocopy of a certificate of obtaining the title of laureate or finalist of an Olympiad, authenticated by the Opole University of Technology (the original available for inspection);
  • A photocopy of a certificate of obtaining the title of laureate or finalist of Olympiads or of competitions organized or held under the patronage of the Opole University of Technology (the original available for inspection);
  • Proof of payment of the recruitment procedures fees, paid to the account of Opole University of Technology
  • The non-acceptance decision  issued by the Faculty’s Admissions Committee

Letters of appeal can also be lodged by post, preferably with acknowledgement of receipt (for example, by registered mail) to the following address:

For all fields of studies, appeals accompanied by complete documentation stipulated above will be received in Department of Education of Opole University of Technology, at 5 Mikołajczyka St. (ul. Mikołajczyka 5), Room 205 E, Monday to Friday, from 8.00 till 14.00.
